Dance teachers and Instructors of Twist N Turns.
The word which defines me just after my name is 'DANCER'. Fortunately, I belong to an art-loving family. So, dance was always in my blood and never was apart from me.
I started my education in Bharatnatyam along with Creative dance at the age of 2.5. I completed my diploma from Sinjan under Sarbabharatiya Sangeet Parishad. I had performed in many shows and also participated in several dance competitions and achieved mementos, medals, and certificates...
I kept on exploring other dance forms, attended several workshops of Hip-Hop, Bollywood, and Contemporary dance forms. I feel fortunate about myself as I turned my passion into my profession. I choreographed in several schools, college shows, corporate and social events all over India and I used to take dance classes.
Apart from a dance lover, I am a fitness freak too. But, I wasn't sure if Zumba could be a part of my life or not. After enough research, I earned the Zin license(2019) and the best part is that my Zumba journey starts with the Zumba® class in Twist 'N' Turns.
And miles to go before I sleep...
I started dancing when I was about 3. It has always been the healer and helped me to escape from my worries & stresses. But at first I chose nursing as my career. But later I realised that, this is not something that I can do for the rest of my life. Then somehow I got to know about zumba and it clicked me. So, I took training in the year of 2019 and became a licensed zumba instructor. After that, there was no looking back.
Personally, this profession gave me a lot. I was not that, what I am now. Now I'm more confident and more self-believer. The transformation gives me a sense of achievement and satisfaction that I believe would have been missing if I had picked any other profession. Thank you TWIST N TURNS for making me a part of your family.
A zumba session is so much fun, it feels like " Fitness party". Once you get the taste, it'll become your addiction. So, I am following my dreams wholeheartedly.
Dance is something that gives me happiness. Whenever I dance, everything feels so good. I started dancing since I was 5.
It started off with learning Bharatnatyam and Kathak parallelly. I did my first solo stage performance when I was 7 and that was the time when I actually fell in love with dance and started doing it in every possible situation.
I got to learn creative dancing and bollywood style form school which built my interest even more. Slowly I started attending workshops also to develop myself as much as I can. I have been trained in contemporary too.
Dance has always been the hidden language of my soul. It has always been the healer and the breather for me.
But at the same time, I wanted to take care of my body and stay fit for the rest of my life. I used to think fitness is boring till I got aware of this dance fitness routine Zumba in the year 2015. Then there was no looking back. I realized this is something I always wanted to do.
Once you see the result it becomes an addiction. I trained myself first under the ZES and took my licensed certificate and was determined that my goal was to become a Zumba fitness trainer and enthusiast. Today I feel blessed to be a part of Twist N Turns where I have started my career and following my passion wholeheartedly!
Dance has always been a passion for me...
I am never afraid to shine...
When I dance I unblock tension, pain, and trauma stored in my body to help me expand into my highest level...
Since childhood, I was madly in love with dancing. I believe dancing is in my blood- whenever I'm happy or sad dance keeps me going.
I'm very proud of myself because I have never learned dance in my entire life, I have only observed and learned on my own.
And today, because of my years of struggle I have succeeded in life on my own. I have been awarded many times as the best choreographer, dancer, and performer in my previous institutes. My base of teaching is Bollywood, hip-hop, freestyle, and Bollyhop
To spread the awareness of fitness I have also earned my license of a Zumba fitness instructor.
I lose and find myself when I dance!
From being a toddler till today, dance is something which made me passionate and brought the best version of me.
As a ZIN, Zumba fitness is my way of life since the last couple of years. I had been the official Zumba co-ordinator for more the 6 Zumba B1 training in Kolkata. Fitness has elevated me both physically and mentally. I love to train hard, push my limits and refine myself.
I love to train and guide people on the principles of Zumba and spread love, hope, and positive energy.
In order to help people transform as a whole, proper diet and weight management are also needed. I hold a diploma in weight and diet management.
I wish to continue serving with the same energy and enthusiasm!
I have pursued my passion for dancing with several stage performances since I was10 years old. During my IT career, I have performed in several office talents shows whenever I got a chance and bagged awards too. I always wanted to take my passion for dance at the next level and wanted to stay fit at the same time.
I never stopped dancing. I went to the US for project assignments and there I learned ballroom dancing, Zumba etc. I wasn't sure if Zumba was popular in India like the way it is in the United States. After good research, I took the certification from Kolkata ZES Piu Majumder and have started taking classes since then.
Dance is a journey for me as I understood it's something which lets me be free from anything and I want to encourage as many people as I can to be themselves or find themselves through dance. I have organised Indak, a dance festival, as one of the convenors of Jadavpur University Dance Forum with Sangram Mukherjee guiding us, which consisted first ever dance conference (organised by student body), competition as well as showcase performances by many known crews of Kolkata like Fullstop, Break Guruz, Takht etc.
I have worked in a music video, a cover of girls like you by the band called Underground Authority, with Mekhola Bose as choreographer and Sambo Mukherjee as director. It was a great experience in itself. I also represent the Kolkata breaking community as breaking is a style to which I connect the most. I have been inspired and mentored by Raj Shaw aka bboytrue1 and his crew Break Guruz and I hope this journey brings more fun, knowledge, and experience in my life.
Dancing since I was 5.. Sometimes in school and sometimes in cultural programs. The slow and steady progress of my passion in the field of dancing has always pushed me forward to learn and experience new styles.... Found myself excelling at being an all-rounder in various zones of dancing such as hip-hop, contemporary and few more I gradually got in the world of Zumba and finally opted for its instructor certification in 2018.
Finally being called as a dance and fitness instructor was like a dream come true.
Learning and spreading my knowledge among little kids and all other students give me immense pleasure... And it also helps in both- the growth of the students and myself.
Hope to reach more and greater heights.
I, Sayan Ghosh was an under average kid back in my school time. One day back in 2008, I danced for the first time in my school annual concert & found myself passionate about something for the first time and I was very much clear with my view about what I needed to do next to grow as a better dancer, choreographer or artist.
I started my training with various renowned instructor, attended workshops, went for a diploma and tried out different styles to give it 100% attention to grow my career.
I am a curious person, once I get the interest in anything I will keep chasing until the time I conquer it completely. So this is the story of my dance life.
I got introduced to dance by my grandfather at a very young age, doing Kathak. I kept on learning and exploring. The more I explored, the more level of interest got increased, and later that interest turned into a passion and now my life...
Dance chose me, so I decided and said to myself that- "Yes! This is what I am going to do for the rest of my life.. Since then I started practicing and joined a dance school where I learned contemporary, ballet and jazz for almost 4 years. And, this whole journey of dance for me is a rollercoaster ride, which always goes higher and higher.
