Antara Roy Chowdhury
I have pursued my passion for dancing with several stage performances since I was10 years old. During my IT career, I have performed in several office talents shows
whenever I got a chance and bagged awards too. I always wanted to take my passion for dance at the next level and wanted to stay fit at the same time.
I never stopped dancing. I went to the US for project assignments and there I learned ballroom dancing, Zumba, etc. I wasn't sure if Zumba was popular in India like the way it is in the United States. After good research, I took the certification from Kolkata ZES Piu Majumder and have started taking classes since then.
Being a working mother I have realized Zumba is not only helping me to stay fit and lose those extra pounds but also works as a rejuvenation charm. It feels awesome when you are transforming others into something better with full of positivity and happiness. Students attending my Zumba classes are coming from various platforms, starting from School Students to Homemakers to Corporate professionals to Teachers, etc.
Teaching Zumba is not contradicting with my office work. I can continue my career and pursue my passion for dance with my own terms and own schedule.
With Zumba, I can stay fit, change lives and have fun all at the same time!!
