## Ashish's Story

My dance journey has been a roller coaster ride. It all started at my school when I was 7 years old. I did a dance performance that my sister had choreographed for me, and after that she made me join an institute where I got trained for a year.

The game-changer was my school's Annual function where I was the lead dancer amongst all my seniors. I am officially trained in old-school Hip Hop under Saif sir and Ashu sir. They have always encouraged me and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for seeing something in me and giving me the opportunity. Since then I used to go to different competitions with them.

Later, I trained myself by following different artists. I have also attended workshops under Sambo Mukherjee, Abhishek Das, Ravi Verma, Ryan, and Karthik Raja and got several opportunities to teach in different dance institutes. Currently, I am teaching in [Twist N Turns](https://twistnturns.in/about-us/welcome-to-twist-n-turns.html) as a Hip Hop instructor.

As I said my dance journey has been a roller coaster ride because I left dance several times due to some issues but I am thankful for this art, DANCE, which never left me. Thanks to my family who always supported me.
