Dance in India is hyperlocal — a Bharatanatyam festival in Chennai goes unnoticed in Mumbai; a hip-hop battle in Delhi never makes it to Kolkata's feed. Twenty years of running dance studios has shown us that the scene is richer when we look across city lines.

This is our attempt to change that. Every week we curate notable dance moments across Indian cities: performances that mattered, trends forming, venues opening, conversations worth having. No algorithm. No scraping. Just what caught our attention.

We're Twist N Turns, a Kolkata-based dance studio. We've been at this since 2005, across 8 locations, teaching 16+ dance and fitness forms. We cover dance in India because we believe the more you see of it, the more you want to be part of it.
