Riya Nathan served as Center Manager of Twist N Turns Dance Studio in Ballygunge, Kolkata from December 2023. During her time with us, she became the heart of the Ballygunge studio — building trust with families, coordinating with instructors, and creating an environment where every child felt safe, seen, and inspired.
A Genuine Love for the Studio Community
Riya came to Twist N Turns without formal dance training but with something equally important: a deep love for children’s growth and an instinct for community. From her first day, she connected with the energy of the studio — the music, the movement, and the small daily moments of a child discovering something new in themselves.
As Center Manager, she was the bridge between the studio’s creative vision and the families who trusted us with their children. She managed day-to-day operations, listened to parents, supported instructors, and made sure the Ballygunge studio felt like home for everyone who walked through the door.
Inspired by Mentorship
Riya often spoke about the mentorship of Director Tapash Das and Creative Head Nikita Das as a defining part of her growth at Twist N Turns. Under their guidance, she developed not just professional skills but a genuine understanding of what it means to build a community through dance.

Riya Nathan is recognised in the Twist N Turns Hall of Fame for her warmth, dedication, and the lasting impression she made on the families and students of the Ballygunge studio. She has moved on to new chapters, and she carries our respect and gratitude with her.
