Susmita’s Story
Susmita Saha’s dance identity was forged on the competitive circuit, not just the studio floor. As an active member of Caper Maniac Crew (C-FAM), she’s represented the family in high-stakes battles and national showcases, most recently competing under the C-FAM banner at the Destiny dance competition.
Freestyle Hip-Hop, Electro, and Waacking are where her heart lives as a performer — and she keeps that edge sharp by regularly travelling to intensive workshops, refining her movement vocabulary and immersing herself in street dance culture wherever she can find it. That combination — strong street-style foundations paired with real battle experience — is what she brings onto the TNT teaching floor.
On the Floor — Teaching at Twist N Turns
At Twist N Turns, Susmita’s teaching load centres on the youngest and newest dancers in the building: Creative Movement for toddlers (4–6 years) at both New Town and Madhyamgram, and Open Style batches for kids and teens at both locations.
Her Creative Movement classes are less about formal technique and more about play with purpose — rhythm games, body-awareness exercises, and simple movement patterns that quietly build the coordination and confidence toddlers need before they’re ready for structured dance. In her Open Style batches, that same instinct for building from the ground up shows through — she breaks street-style fundamentals into pieces young dancers can actually hold onto, while still letting them explore and find their own groove.
