Get On The Dance Floor Season 11 lands in April 2026 at Tangerine Banquet, Sector V, Kolkata — the eleventh consecutive edition of the studio’s flagship annual celebration. Senior students from all seven Twist N Turns studios, the full instructor team, an evening of choreographed acts across every style on the curriculum, audience games between segments, dinner, and an open-floor afterparty.

If you’ve trained with us this past year, this is the night your batch’s work meets the stage.

Rehearsals & Behind The Scenes

The work behind every act — late-night rehearsals across all seven studios, choreographers cleaning sections till the formations clicked, and the moment-of-truth dress run at Tangerine Banquet. The reel that shows what a Twist N Turns batch looks like when it’s pointed at a stage.

Student Reactions & Feedback

What to Expect — The GOTDF Format

Eleven editions in, the run-of-show is a Twist N Turns tradition:

  • Opening group acts — high-energy openers from senior batches that set the room’s tempo for the night.
  • Programmed showcase — back-to-back performances across every dance style on the curriculum: jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, salsa, Bollywood, Zumba, and Indian classical. Group pieces, romantic duets, and solo spots from confident senior dancers.
  • Instructor showcase — the full teaching team from every Twist N Turns studio takes the floor. The instructor block is a GOTDF signature — each teacher brings their own stylistic stamp.
  • Audience games — Nikita Sangai runs the room between segments with the games that have become GOTDF lore: Shuffle and Groove, the Nimboo Dance, movie one-liners delivered with full Bollywood treatment, and on-the-spot dare chits drawn from a bowl.
  • Zumba squad — a dedicated mid-evening set that pulls audience members onto the floor. By the second track, the hall is dancing.
  • Founders’ moment — the impromptu duet by Tapash Das and Nikita Sangai — a fixture of the night and traditionally the loudest reaction of the evening.
  • Dinner — multi-course spread, food coupons issued at registration.
  • Afterparty — tables push back, the floor reopens, and the distinction between performers and audience disappears. Students, instructors, families, and friends dance late into the night to chart-topping Bollywood and English numbers.

Who Performs at GOTDF

GOTDF is not a public competition. It is the senior-members showcase of the Twist N Turns regular-classes calendar.

  • Senior batch students who have progressed through the year’s curriculum at any of the seven Twist N Turns studios.
  • The full instructor team from every studio.
  • Special segments from the Zumba squad and the founders.

If you’ve been in a Twist N Turns batch this year and your instructor has invited you to perform at Season 11, that’s your stage moment. Coordinate rehearsal slots with your home studio.

Why GOTDF Matters

Get On The Dance Floor has run annually since 2014. The reason it matters to the studio: it gives every senior dancer — nervous first-time performer or multi-season regular — a real stage moment to work toward. It is the point at which a week-after-week regular class turns into something visible, sharable, and permanent.

“After a lot of research, I found this dance institute because my sister confessed that she wanted to be a dancer. The show reassured me that my sister is under the right guidance. Each choreographer is unique and amazing.” — family member, past GOTDF audience

Registration & Passes

Registration is being managed through your home studio. Each Twist N Turns location is coordinating its own roster of performers and non-performer guests:

  • Performers — confirm your slot with your batch instructor.
  • Family & friends — non-performer passes include the show, audience games, and dinner. Contact your home studio or the Head Office for the cut-off date and pass rate.
  • Head Office — call or WhatsApp 98310 18015 for any registration question.
