The word which defines me just after my name is ‘DANCER’. I belong to an art-loving family. So, dance was always in my blood and never was apart from me.
Dance has been my constant companion since before I can remember — from those first toddler steps in Bharatanatyam to choreographing shows across India, every experience has woven itself into who I am.
Zumba added a wonderful new chapter: energetic, joyful, and deeply communal. The fact that my Zumba journey began at Twist N Turns makes that chapter even more special — it felt like coming home.
I started my education in Bharatnatyam along with Creative dance at the age of 2.5. I completed my diploma from Sinjin under Sarbabharatiya Sangeet Parishad. I had performed in many shows and also participated in several dance competitions and achieved mementos, medals, and certificates…
I kept on exploring other dance forms, and attended several workshops on Hip-Hop, Bollywood, and Contemporary dance forms. I feel fortunate about myself as I turned my passion into my profession. I choreographed in several schools, college shows, and corporate and social events all over India and I used to take dance classes.
Apart from being a dance lover, I am a fitness freak too. But, I wasn’t sure if Zumba could be a part of my life or not. After enough research, I earned the Zin license(2019) and the best part is that my Zumba journey starts with the Zumba® class in Twist ‘N’ Turns.
