Choreoshots are designed for the dancer who wants the high of finishing a piece without signing up for a term. You walk in on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. The choreographer breaks down a routine over 1–3 hours. By the end of the session, the whole room dances it together — and we film it so you walk out with something to share.

The choreographer breaks down the routine count by count over 1–3 hours. Open level — beginners welcome, but expect to work hard and sweat.

The room performs the finished piece together with the choreographer. We film it. You take the video home.

What exactly is a Choreoshot? +
A Choreoshot is a walk-in choreography class at Twist N Turns Kolkata. In a single 1–3 hour session you learn one complete dance piece from a guest or in-house choreographer, then perform it together with the group at the end. No course commitment, no progressive curriculum — just one finished piece.
Do I need to be a Twist N Turns student to attend? +
No. Choreoshots are open to everyone — current TNT students, dancers from other studios, and complete beginners. Each session is taught at a level the choreographer specifies (most are open-level).
How much does a Choreoshot cost? +
Pay-as-you-dance pricing typically runs ₹500–₹1,500 per session, depending on the choreographer, length and style. Final price is confirmed when the upcoming Choreoshot is announced.
Do I need to register in advance? +
You can pre-register by calling +91 9830028063 (or DM us on Instagram @twistnturns_dance), or simply walk in on the day and register on the spot. Spots are limited per session — earlier is safer.
What dance styles are taught at Choreoshots? +
Each Choreoshot features a different choreographer and a different style — Hip Hop, Bollywood, Contemporary, Jazz, Heels, Waacking, K-Pop, Krump and Indian classical fusion have all been featured. The upcoming style is announced for each session.
How is a Choreoshot different from a regular dance class? +
Regular classes are weekly batches with a progressive curriculum across a term. Choreoshots are one-shot 1–3 hour sessions where you learn ONE complete piece — no commitment, no course, no homework.
How is a Choreoshot different from a workshop? +
Workshops are bigger, multi-day intensives — often with international guest faculty (Melvin Louis, Himanshu Dulani, Carlos Neto). Choreoshots are short walk-in pop-ups, usually a single afternoon, with our in-house team or a visiting choreographer.
Where do Choreoshots happen? +
At any of our 8 Kolkata studios — Salt Lake, Ballygunge, Dum Dum Park, Ruby, New Alipore, Newtown, Rajarhat or Madhyamgram. Each Choreoshot is hosted at one specific location, announced in advance.
Will the session be filmed? +
Yes — at the end of every Choreoshot we film the group performing the finished piece together. You receive the video to share on Instagram, WhatsApp or wherever you like.
What should I wear and bring? +
Comfortable workout gear. Sneakers for hip hop / contemporary; jazz shoes or barefoot for ballet-influenced styles. Bring water, a small towel and the energy to dance for an afternoon.
