My journey as a dancer began when I was 17 years old, starting with classical dance. This decision to immerse me in the world of dance led me down a path of self-discovery and growth. Over the next five years,
I dedicated myself to mastering the techniques and nuances of classical dance, honing my skills and learning from experienced teachers. However, my passion for dance would not be confined to a single style or genre. As I grew as a dancer, I felt a pull towards the exciting realm of Western dance, and so, I decided to transition from my classical roots.
Upon turning 22, I embarked on a new chapter in my dance career, enrolling in a comprehensive diploma program at Rhythmosaic Dance School & Institute. This esteemed institution is known for its focus on contemporary dance, jazz, and ballet, and I was eager to broaden my horizons by diving into these captivating styles. The diploma program was an intense and transformative experience, during which I not only acquired technical prowess in contemporary, jazz, and ballet but also deepened my understanding of dance as an art form.

After completing my diploma, I decided to share my passion for dance with others by becoming a dance instructor. I had the privilege of teaching at prestigious schools such as La Martienere and Shri Shikshayatan, where I helped students develop their own love for dance and unlock their potential.
In 2015, I had the opportunity to perform alongside the renowned Beijing LDTX Dance Company in the production "White Lotus Black Sand," a collaboration with Rhythmosaic. This exhilarating experience further propelled my career and opened doors to more incredible opportunities.
The following year, in 2016, I travelled to Yekaterinburg, Russia, as a guest performer with Rhythmosaic Dance Company. There, I represented India at the Indo-Russian Business Trade event, showcasing the rich and diverse culture of my home country through my dance performances.
My experiences in the world of dance led me to explore choreography as well. I created my first contemporary dance choreography and presented it at Alliance Française du Bengale. I also choreographed a contemporary-ballet dance drama titled "Distant Land" in collaboration with the students of Shri Shikshayatan School. These experiences allowed me to express my creativity and deepen my connection with dance.
Throughout my career, I have had the honor of performing at various prestigious events and venues. In 2015, I was invited to perform at the American Consulate, and in 2016, I graced the stage at the Delhi Contemporary Dance Festival. These experiences not only helped me grow as a performer but also provided opportunities to network and collaborate with other talented artists.
Currently, I am working with Twist N Turns as a dance instructor, specializing in jazz, ballet, and contemporary dance. My journey as a dancer has been filled with countless memorable moments and invaluable lessons, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my passion and knowledge with my students.
Looking back on my dance career, I am proud of the path I have forged and the experiences I have gained along the way. From my humble beginnings in classical dance to my foray into the world of Western dance styles, I have grown not only as a dancer but also as a person. My journey has taught me that dance transcends boundaries and has the power to connect people from all walks of life. As I continue to pursue my passion for dance, I am excited for the new adventures and challenges that lie ahead.
