Subhojit Shome (Roshan)
Dancing has always been a short-cut to HAPPINESS. Born and brought up in the small town of Jamshedpur with very little avenues to explore western dance, he had
never imagined he would be able to learn and teach and grow with dance as a primary profession.
But hard work and belief in himself have seen him come a long way through a journey of six years. He has choreographed and won numerous state-level competitions, school/college competitions and has also been part of some reality shows.
Learning every single day and sharing that knowledge have been two important motivators for him. From exploring his versatility in a range of dance forms, he has now started focussing on his favourite forms - Popping, Locking, Breaking and is expressing his creative side by designing choreographies based on these dance forms.
His relationship with dance is best summed up by this quote from Osho - "To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it."
