Zin Rakhi Mondal
I started dancing when I was 3 years old. When I was a child, I used to dance to the songs that played on TV.
For me, dance is an expression of happiness. Seeing my interest in dancing, my parents enrolled me in a dance school. My dance training started in that school, first on Kathak and then on Bharatnatyam.
After the age of 15, I got interested in western dance then I started training in a school of Western dance. During this time I attended master classes in many dance forms like Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Hip-hop, Salsa, Kalaripayattu, etc. Along with studying in college, I started doing some dance. One day I got interested in Zumba after watching one Zumba event. Then I googled about it and gathered a lot of information.
And in the middle of that year, I took Zumba training and got my certificate and that's how I started getting more involved with dance. Right after that, I took Zumba as my profession. After two years I took Aqua Zumba training. Now I am Zumba, Aqua Zumba, and a dance trainer. I am happy as well as very proud to take up dance as my profession.
